Made from sturdy English oak in the classic design of the 1860’s, this saddle horse mellows every time a saddle is cleaned and polished. It has three deep drawers on one side and a cabinet with two shelves to give you plenty of storage for tack cleaning supplies as well as the multitude of bits and pieces that surround our horses.
In the days when the tack room was the hub of the stables, this saddle horse transformed itself into a table for the midday meal for the stable lads. In keeping with this tradition, we use our saddle horse table for enjoying tea and scones when our work is done.
It is a handsome piece of furniture for the tack room or as a unique piece in the home. In our drawing room at Picket Piece, we have dropped one side of The Windsor to create half of the table for our family photos while the drawers and shelves are wonderful for storage.
